Senior Loan Administrator
Full-Time
Northern Colorado Region


Northstar Bank Colorado currently has an opening for a Senior Loan Administrator. This is a full time/exempt position and will be located in the Northern Colorado region in the Loveland or Yuma branch.


The position will report to the SVP, Loan and Credit Administration, Denver Tech Center.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Review loan closing document requests, track and assign work to others and maintain internal service level agreements.
  • Review document packages before closing, including but not limited to: entity and collateral information, adherence with bank policies and procedures, compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Prepare loan documentation for commercial, agricultural and consumer loans in compliance with all Bank policies, as well as all Federal and State regulations.
  • Input information into loan system for booking and funding all loans at closing.
  • Process, track, and maintain note and collateral documents for all loans.
  • Process, track, review and complete construction loan disbursements (builder and/or consumer), including but not limited to internal budget tracking, title file updates and inspection report processing.
  • Balances transaction tickets and GL entries.
  • Builds collateral files and scans documents to ensure proper recording in the digital filing system.
  • Help clear collateral exceptions, while maintaining exception clearing system.
  • Performs loan file maintenance as requested. Ensures proper approvals are evident. Also performs routine maintenance in executing proper procedures for other loan administrative tasks.
  • Process credit references received by internal and external customers.
  • Scan all trailing loan documentation. Responds to various document requests.
  • Process paid off loans.
  • Assists in department special projects and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of loan documentation experience with agricultural, commercial and consumer loan documentation. Consumer Construction disbursement experience preferred.
  • Experience with Laser Pro software preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to handle difficult customer situations.
  • Ability to proficiently use a computer with knowledge of Windows based software.
  • Detailed oriented and well organized.
  • Capability to problem solve and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Commercial Relationship Manager

Longmont, CO


Northstar Bank Colorado’s Longmont branch currently has an opening for a Commercial Relationship Manager position. The position is a full time/exempt position with a possible Saturday rotation. This position will report to the Market President of Greeley.


JOB SUMMARY: The Commercial Relationship Manager is responsible for maintaining and/or generating a loan portfolio over $20 million with a mixture of loans that represent the Northern Colorado market including commercial and customer loans with revenues from $500k to $10 million.


Minimum Qualifications include:

  • College degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a business banker or commercial loan officer at a bank.
  • Proven track record of superior financial sales performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Capacity to work independently and motivation to achieve goals with minimal supervision.
  • Performs as a team member and completes any other job-related duties as assigned.

Northstar Bank Colorado’s Downtown branch located in Colorado Springs has an opening for a Teller. This is a full-time/non-exempt position with a possible Saturday rotation. The position will report to the Service Manager.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality service to our customers. This includes processing standard teller transactions and answering telephone inquiries.
  • Responsible for maintaining and balancing a cash drawer.
  • Assist in ATM daily cash balancing.
  • Make appropriate general ledger entries.
  • Actively cross-sells products and services and provide customer referrals to the Bank’s business partners.
  • Act as backup to new accounts if needed.

  • High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
